ORANJESTAD, Aruba (AAN) — WEB Aruba water service Parada na Playa will be available during Carnival parades this year as part of WEB Aruba NV’s campaign titled “Awa! Bo Motor pa Carnaval.”
The campaign highlights the importance of staying properly hydrated while participating in Carnival events, especially during long hours under intense sunlight.
Maintaining hydration helps regulate body temperature through sweating, prevents heat-related illnesses, and supports both physical and cognitive performance. Drinking water regularly replenishes fluids lost due to heat and helps prevent fatigue, dizziness, and muscle cramps, even when thirst is not immediately felt.
To support parade participants and spectators, WEB Aruba NV will install a special water refill station along Vondellaan in Playa, where the public can refill empty bottles free of charge.
According to WEB, the water station will be located at Kavel Vondellaan 6 and will be available on the following dates:
-
Sunday, February 1 – Children’s Parade (Parada di Mucha)
-
Saturday, February 7 – Lighting Parade
-
Sunday, February 15 – Grand Parade (Parada Grandi di Playa)
WEB Aruba NV encourages everyone attending the parades to take advantage of the service and stay hydrated throughout the Carnival celebrations.
