The first University of Aruba Master’s Table brought new and continuing graduate students together for an evening focused on connection, community and belonging.
Students from different master’s programs met academic leaders and one another. Dean of Law Dr. Chun Luk and MBA coordinator Dr. Rosabelle Illis welcomed participants and reflected on the role of relationships alongside academic achievement.
Research opportunities highlighted
Research Center coordinator Dr. Esther Plomp explained how students can take part in research and what support is available during their studies. The event also incorporated the university’s current theme, “Your pattern shapes more than you.”
The University of Aruba Master’s Table is intended to help graduate students build a network across programs and see their studies as part of a wider contribution to the island.
