ORANJESTAD (AAN) – A Tourist Injured in ATV Accident at Boca Wariruri was transported to hospital on Sunday morning after being hurt during an off-road tour.
Police and ambulance personnel were dispatched after receiving reports of an injured person near Boca Wariruri. Before emergency crews arrived, the victim had already been transported to Bushiribana to allow for faster medical assistance.
The preliminary investigation found that the injured woman was participating in a guided off-road ATV tour when the accident occurred at Boca Wariruri. She suffered a deep laceration to her right leg near the knee.
Paramedics treated the tourist upon arrival at Bushiribana before transporting her to the hospital for further medical care.
Police documented the incident, and the circumstances surrounding the ATV crash remain under investigation.
