Two retired teachers in Aruba have come forward to file official complaints regarding a prolonged dispute with neighbors in their residential area. Sisters Dorothy and Deborah Ann Posner reported a series of incidents involving Melany Bermudez and her husband, Dr. Ernesto Bermudez, alleging harassment and physical assault.

According to Dorothy Posner, a recent confrontation escalated when she was dropping her sister at home. She claims that despite showing she was not recording, she was struck in the back. The situation reportedly intensified when Dr. Bermudez attempted to assist Dorothy, leading to further allegations of physical aggression. Dorothy Posner sought medical attention at the hospital and has since filed a police report.

Deborah Ann Posner described the emotional toll of the ongoing conflict, stating that the issues have persisted for months. She expressed fear for her safety, noting that the altercations have occasionally entered her home. The sisters hope that legal intervention will resolve the matter and restore peace to the neighborhood.
