This past weekend, the Taekwondo Team Aruba athletes competed in their first event of 2026, the Florida Cup in Miami.
Under the guidance of Master Yoshmar Wever, the coach and trainer of Taekwondo Team Aruba, the athletes are fully prepared to compete at the highest level. The Florida Cup marked the first event of the year for the team, with three athletes participating, while others are preparing for upcoming training camps.
The Florida Cup brought together Taekwondo athletes from various schools across the United States and international countries. The event continues to grow each year, serving as a valuable preparation for the upcoming Open USA tournament.
