ORANJESTAD (AAN) – SKOA Opens School Transfer Requests for parents wishing to move their children to a different school for the upcoming academic year. The Stichting Katholiek Onderwijs Aruba (SKOA) announced that transfer applications will be accepted during the final week of the school term, from July 6 through July 10, 2026.
Parents must submit their transfer request through the principal of their child’s current school. All applications will be processed digitally using the centralized SAS system, and requests must be completed during the designated application period, as school transfer requests will not be accepted during the school holidays.
SKOA stated that applications will be handled in the order they are received, meaning parents who submit their requests earlier will have them processed first. To complete the application, parents must provide a population registry extract (Censo document), a copy of a valid AZV or private health insurance card for the 2026–2027 school year, and proof of payment of the 2026–2027 school fee.
Once all requirements have been met, parents can expect a response within 10 working days. Approved applicants will receive an official placement letter, allowing them to complete enrollment at their child’s new school.
Parents whose children currently attend schools managed by other school boards may also apply for admission to a SKOA school through the foundation’s official website at www.skoa.aw.
As Aruba’s largest educational organization, SKOA offers a comprehensive curriculum focused on students’ academic, personal, and social development. The foundation emphasizes its Catholic values while promoting multilingual education, inclusion, innovation, and extracurricular activities designed to support the overall growth of every student.
For additional information about SKOA schools or the transfer process, parents are encouraged to visit www.skoa.aw or contact the organization at 523-1800 during regular office hours.
