ORANJESTAD, Aruba (AAN) — The Setar N V donation Stimami Sterilisami is helping strengthen Aruba’s island-wide animal sterilization efforts, as the foundation received a generous contribution of Afl. 7,500 to launch its programs for 2026.
Fundacion Stimami Sterilisami expressed its sincere gratitude for the continued support of Setar N V, noting that the contribution represents more than financial assistance—it is a meaningful recognition of the foundation’s ongoing mission to humanely control the population of stray animals across Aruba.
The donation was directed to Mr. R. Croes, Ms. Ho, and Ms. Donata, with support from the Setar team. Thanks to this assistance and the loyalty of its donors, 6,405 dogs and cats were sterilized in 2025, bringing the total number of sterilizations carried out between 2016 and 2025 to over 46,000 animals.
The Setar N V donation Stimami Sterilisami will be matched florin-for-florin by Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort, allowing the foundation to further cover the costs of free sterilization services for dogs and cats across the island.
With continued support in 2026, Stimami Sterilisami aims to maximize the number of sterilizations performed, improving animal welfare and reducing the number of stray animals—an issue that impacts animals, the community, and visitors alike.
Fundacion Stimami Sterilisami is a charitable organization dedicated to humanely reducing the population of abandoned dogs and cats in Aruba through its island-wide sterilization program. The foundation uses 100% of donations to help cover sterilization costs for individual pet owners and volunteer organizations caring for stray animals.
