Man Assaulted with Helmet at Seroe Patrishi

ORANJESTAD (AAN): A man walking his dog was attacked Thursday afternoon at Seroe Patrishi, leading to the detention of a suspect by local authorities. The incident occurred along the path leading into the mondi area, where the victim was reportedly confronted by another individual.

According to reports, the attacker struck the victim in the head with a helmet with significant force. Following the assault, the injured man moved to the side of the road and requested police assistance. When officers arrived at the scene, they found the man with visible wounds to his face.

The victim subsequently filed a formal complaint regarding the mistreatment. Police have detained the aggressor, and the helmet used in the incident has been seized as evidence. The item has been handed over to the investigation and technical departments for further processing of the case.
