ORANJESTAD, Aruba — A Sero Pita Outdoor Movie event will give residents an opportunity to watch a locally produced film while supporting Fundacion Berea’s next production.
The fundraising screening will take place on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Sero Pita 33.
The programme is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. and will feature E Bruha, Bruhá 2: Blijf Hier in an outdoor natural setting.
Admission will be free, although visitors will be invited to make voluntary contributions.
Local Sequel Featured During Film Night
E Bruha, Bruhá 2: Blijf Hier is a locally produced sequel featuring Yvonne Tromp as the central character, a grandmother determined to defend her family against injustice.
The cast also includes Egmond Molina, Desiree Croes, Edwin Duijneveld, Addonsito Croes, Lelicia Tromp, Mirto Tromp and Shajir Croes.
The film has previously been presented outdoors at Sero Pita, where families, production team members and supporters gathered to watch the sequel in a natural setting.
The movie is approximately 80 minutes long and carries a PG-13 classification in its cinema listing.
Free Entry With Voluntary Donations
Fundacion Berea will not charge a fixed admission price for the August 1 screening.
A contribution box will instead be available for guests who wish to support the organisation’s film work.
Visitors will also be able to purchase snacks and drinks during the evening. Proceeds from those sales will contribute to the foundation’s fundraising campaign.
The arrangement allows families and local film supporters to attend without purchasing tickets while still having an opportunity to help finance future productions.
Funds Will Support Third Film
Money collected during the event will be used to help finance the final instalment, currently planned as E Bruha, Bruhá 3.
Production of the third film is expected to begin soon, although Fundacion Berea has not announced a filming schedule, release date or complete cast.
The outdoor screening therefore serves both as a presentation of the second film and as a fundraising step toward completing the series.
Fundacion Berea has organised similar movie nights featuring locally produced films. One earlier event presented three Berea Productions titles to approximately 70 invited guests in an outdoor setting at Rooi Taki.
Event Promotes Locally Produced Cinema
The Sero Pita event gives residents another opportunity to support filmmakers, actors and production teams working within Aruba.
Local productions can present Aruban locations, language, humour and community experiences in ways that international films may not.
Outdoor screenings also create a less formal environment where families, performers and supporters can gather around a shared cultural activity.

Entry is free, while voluntary donations and purchases from the snack area will help Fundacion Berea continue its work on the planned third film.
