The Prime Minister commended the organizers for their efforts to foster neighborhood collaboration. He stated that initiatives like the Savaneta Food Market align with the government’s vision for social and economic development, emphasizing the value of consuming local products.
Norman Thijsen, President of the Savaneta Foundation, shared plans to develop a weekly community market. The proposed Sunday market would feature a food court, local products, and a family atmosphere, providing a platform for local entrepreneurs to showcase their goods.
