Cyclist Injured After U-Turn Collision in Pos Abao

ORANJESTAD (AAN) – On Monday afternoon, police and ambulance responded to an accident with injuries in Pos Abao.

Authorities found that a cyclist riding an electric bike made a sudden U-turn while a car was driving behind. Although the driver attempted to swerve to avoid the collision, the vehicle still struck the cyclist, hitting the front light and windshield before the cyclist fell to the ground.

Emergency personnel treated the injured cyclist at the scene and transported them to the hospital for further medical care.
