Two cars ended up in a collision around noon on October 1 near Panda Express in Paradera, after a risky “take chance” maneuver went wrong.
The vehicles involved were a KIA Soluto (license plate A-28766) and a Hyundai Staria (license plate A-82868). Following the failed maneuver, the two cars crashed into each other, leaving both with visible damage.
Two women were injured in the accident and were transported to the hospital for medical treatment. Emergency services responded to the scene to assist the victims and manage traffic in the area.
The incident serves as a reminder of the dangers of attempting risky overtaking or gap maneuvers on Aruba’s busy roads. Authorities continue to urge drivers to exercise caution and patience, especially around commercial areas where traffic is heavier.
