ORANJESTAD (AAN) – The newly established Aruba Judo Federation (AJF) has officially taken shape after its founding members completed the legal framework required to launch the organization.
The federation recently submitted its final statutes to the International Judo Federation (IJF) for approval, marking a major step toward officially reactivating judo in Aruba.
According to the founding members, the federation has spent several years preparing its legal structure to meet both Aruban and international requirements. Once approved, AJF plans to work with local clubs and athletes to rebuild the sport on the island.
The Aruban Olympic Committee (COA) congratulated the federation and its founders, recognizing the dedication and patience required to establish the new governing body.
