ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Parliamentarian Mike de Meza says that despite recent development in San Nicolas, much more work is needed to improve infrastructure and support tourism in the area.
De Meza said the new Secrets Hotel is expected to boost the local economy and increase traffic, making it even more important to upgrade roads, improve lighting and install proper directional signage for visitors.
He also called for better maintenance of San Nicolas beaches, a beach management policy and the introduction of lifeguard services to enhance safety for tourists.
According to De Meza, tourism remains Aruba’s main economic driver, and investing in the infrastructure of San Nicolas is essential to ensure the area’s continued growth and attractiveness.
