ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Sharine Croes-Dubero of Aruba’s Department of Study Facilities says that, to the best of her knowledge, Aruban students studying in the Netherlands have been able to secure housing.
In an interview with DIARIO, Croes-Dubero explained that housing is primarily the responsibility of each student. She encouraged prospective students to register for accommodation early, ideally at the age of 16 or 17, to improve their chances of finding a room before beginning their studies.
She noted that mentors in several Dutch cities assist Aruban students with housing, but that arranging accommodation is not handled directly by the Arubahuis.
Students planning to study in the Netherlands are encouraged to contact Arubalening through www.ea.aw or reach out to the Arubahuis for guidance and information before their departure.
