ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Minister René “Baba” Herde has launched an interactive social media program aimed at strengthening communication and transparency between the government and the community.
Through his official Facebook page, residents can submit questions directly to the minister regarding matters related to the Ministry of Housing, Infrastructure, Internal Services, and Telecommunications.
During regular broadcasts, Minister Herde answers questions from citizens and provides updates, explanations, and information about projects and initiatives under his ministry’s responsibility.
The initiative is designed to create a direct communication channel between the government and the public, allowing concerns, questions, and issues to be addressed in an open and accessible manner.
The program is currently broadcast two to three times per week on Facebook. In the near future, it is also expected to air on TeleAruba, enabling a broader audience to follow the informational sessions.
Plans are also underway to host a live interactive program once a month, giving citizens the opportunity to engage directly with the minister through Facebook.
The broadcasts are published every Monday and Thursday morning on Minister Herde’s official Facebook page, and the public is encouraged to participate by submitting questions and staying informed about developments within the ministry.
