Mental Health Foundation Aruba Respaldo Signs CAO 2026–2028 Protocol with ABV

As part of the Collective Labour Agreement (CAO) process, Fundación Salud Mental Aruba Respaldo and the labor union ABV officially signed the CAO 2026–2028 Protocol on Thursday, January 8, 2026. The protocol formally establishes the agreements that will apply over the next three years.

During the signing ceremony, Gina Maduro, representing ABV, thanked all those present and expressed her satisfaction with the signing of a three-year collective labor agreement. She highlighted that negotiations between ABV and Respaldo were conducted in a flexible and constructive manner, characterized by open communication, transparency, and mutual collaboration. According to Maduro, both parties consistently took into account the organization’s capacity, fostering mutual respect and ultimately reaching a true win-win outcome.

Maduro also expressed appreciation to the full Respaldo team involved in the negotiations, as well as to the ABV board for their dedication and commitment throughout the process.

On behalf of Respaldo, Director Caroline Hart stated that the most important elements of the CAO 2026–2028 have now been formally established in the protocol, providing clarity and stability for all parties involved.

Hart thanked Gina Maduro and the ABV team for their constructive dialogue and cooperation, as well as Respaldo’s management team members who participated in the negotiations with the union.

She concluded by emphasizing that Respaldo is very satisfied with the results achieved so far, noting that the agreed benefits directly contribute to the progress and well-being of its employees.
