Local singer Carolyne Kock has officially released a new song and video clip titled “Mama di Luz.” The launch occurred this week, timed to coincide with the Feast of the Virgin Mary, known locally as “Mama di Iglesia.” The production is dedicated to the Virgin Mary and aims to convey messages of love, hope, faith, and maternal protection.
Kock announced the release with emotion and devotion, inviting the public to celebrate the power of prayer, unity, and light. The video clip visually reflects the connection between music, culture, and spirituality. This release represents the artist’s continued growth as she shares positive and inspiring content with her audience in Aruba and abroad.
The project involved collaboration with numerous local professionals. Veloushka Krozendijk wrote the lyrics, while Ruth Gaarie provided the chorus. Robert Kock managed the musical and video production, with Diego Henriquez serving as musical director and arranger. The recording, mixing, and mastering were handled by DH Music Factory. The video features performances by Mariachi Reyes de Aruba, directed by Ernán Angela.
Filming took place at several local sites, including Rancho Monte Azul, Casibari, and Kapel Alto Vista. Wardrobe was designed by Carolyne Diego Giraldo, make-up was done by Caithlyne Kock, and hair arrangements were by Chastity Kock-Hodge.
