ORANJESTAD, Aruba — The KvK Aruba Kids Quiz gave local children an entertaining and educational way to remain active during the 2026 school vacation.
The Aruba Chamber of Commerce, known locally as Kamer van Koophandel Aruba, organized the morning activity in collaboration with Buki Pret 2026.
The Chamber’s events committee invited Addonsito Croes and Thyara Doornkamp to serve as presenters and guide the children through the different rounds of the competition.
Quiz Focused on Aruba
The theme of the KvK Aruba Kids Quiz was Aruba, with questions designed to test the participants’ knowledge of the island.
The categories included Aruba’s landscapes, wildlife, monuments, true-or-false questions and a special mystery box round.
The quiz allowed the children to learn more about their island while working together, sharing ideas and competing in a friendly environment.
Six teams participated in the competition: Chilly, Girls Group, Power Girls, Team Smart, 3-Pant and KvK Girls.
After several rounds of questions, Team Smart finished in first place and was named the winning group.
Team Chilly secured second place.
Special prizes were also awarded to the most enthusiastic child and the participant who remained the most attentive throughout the activity.
Children Receive KiNiKi Magazine
Every participating child received the latest edition of KiNiKi Magazine to take home.
The magazine includes games and vacation activities that children can complete for an opportunity to win additional prizes during the school break.
Organizers said the event was intended to combine learning, teamwork and entertainment while encouraging children to stay mentally active during their vacation.
At the conclusion of the programme, Addonsito Croes thanked the Aruba Chamber of Commerce, the children from Buki Pret, presenter Thyara Doornkamp and assistant Omayra de Windt for their contributions.
He also wished all participants an enjoyable 2026 summer vacation.
The KvK Aruba Kids Quiz concluded with prizes, educational materials and positive memories for the children who participated.
