The organizing committee of the Kids Run 2026 has announced that this year’s event is officially sold out, marking a record participation of 750 children. The annual athletic event is set to take place on June 20 at the G.P. Trinidad Stadium in Dakota, coinciding with the Olympic Day Celebration.
The registration process occurred in two phases, with the initial phase opening for schools on May 25. According to the organizers, there was a massive reaction from teachers and students during this period, which closed on May 29. The second phase for the general public opened on June 1, and the remaining capacity was filled very quickly, reaching the maximum limit of 750 registered children.
Organizers thanked the schools, parents, and especially the children for their immense support. The committee noted that the immediate sell-out serves as a strong demonstration of the community’s dedication to promoting health and an active lifestyle among the island’s youth. Race packets are scheduled for delivery to schools from June 15 to 17 as the committee works on final details to ensure a safe and memorable experience.
