Authorities responded to a traffic accident on Jupiterstraat on Monday morning near the EPI Hospitality and Tourism. Police were dispatched to the scene shortly after receiving reports of the collision.
Upon arrival, officers determined that the accident was caused by a failure to yield the right of way. According to the report, the driver of a white Hyundai crossed the intersection without giving precedence to a small car that was traveling on the main road.
The impact resulted in one person sustaining injuries. Paramedics arrived at the location to attend to the victim at the scene.
