Interest in Tumba Is No Longer What It Used to Be, and Changes in Television and Venue Have Had an Impact

Here we can see how attendance shifted slightly once the adult Tumba competition began.
Attendance was low for the first participants, although it improved a little when the adult performers started. Even then, the venue never became fully packed.

The turnout remained poor overall. This shows that the organizers may need to re-evaluate and reconsider certain factors. It may also be necessary to face the possibility that public interest in Carnival, and especially Tumba, is slowly declining.
