The Government of Aruba has expressed its sincere appreciation to the hotel sector and tourism partners for their exceptional efforts during the recent period marked by widespread flight cancellations.

Prime Minister Mike Eman and Minister of Tourism Wendrick Cicilia publicly acknowledged the dedication of professionals across the tourism chain who stepped up to support thousands of stranded visitors unable to return home and in need of additional accommodation arrangements. Despite the challenges, Aruba’s tourism services stood out for their flexibility, professionalism, cooperation, and strong commitment to guest care.

Front desk teams, housekeeping staff, security personnel, transportation providers, and service workers worked tirelessly to deliver clear information, hands-on assistance, and a dignified guest experience, all while upholding Aruba’s renowned standard of hospitality under difficult circumstances.

Close collaboration between the airport authority, airlines, hotels, and local businesses played a key role in maintaining order, safety, and service continuity throughout the busy and demanding period.

The Government of Aruba extended its gratitude to everyone involved for their patience and dedication, reaffirming that tourism and service workers remain a vital pillar of the national economy and a cornerstone of Aruba’s positive reputation worldwide.
