During her official visit to the Netherlands, Minister Gerlien Croes, responsible for Kingdom Relations, Education, Youth, Innovation, and Sports, continued discussions with NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences following a previous meeting held in Aruba.
The meeting focused on higher education initiatives, emphasizing expanded academic opportunities for Aruban students. Topics included potential new minors, introduction of additional study programs in Aruba, and strengthening collaboration with the University of Aruba and other local educational institutions.
A special moment during the visit highlighted Aruban students Andrew and Camron, currently studying at NHL Stenden. Minister Croes expressed pride in their academic achievements and stressed the importance of creating opportunities for more Aruban students to pursue quality education locally and internationally.
NHL Stenden is known for its innovative Design Thinking approach, emphasizing creative problem-solving, collaboration, and practical learning—essential skills for preparing students for the modern labor market.
