DEN HAAG (AAN) – A delegation from the Arubahuis, together with Aruban students, honored Boy Ecury by laying a wreath at Waalsdorpervlakte during the Dodenherdenking ceremony in The Hague.
The location holds deep historical significance, as it is where resistance members were executed during World War II, including the young Aruban hero Boy Ecury.
The ceremony included two minutes of silence and the laying of wreaths, continuing an important tradition that keeps alive the memory of those who sacrificed their lives for freedom.
