ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Dutch State Secretary Eric van der Burg will make an official working visit to Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao from July 13 to 17, with discussions focusing on Kingdom cooperation, economic development and environmental sustainability.
During his visit to Aruba, Van der Burg is scheduled to meet with Governor Alfonso Boekhoudt, Prime Minister Mike Eman, and Minister Gerlien Croes. He will also visit the University of Aruba to learn about the Kingdom Start Up Program, which promotes entrepreneurship among students from Aruba, Curaçao and Sint Maarten.
The agenda also includes visits to Aruba’s Crisis Management Office to discuss humanitarian assistance for Venezuela, recycling company Ecotech, and Vaper Trading, the first Aruba business to benefit from the BMKB ACS business loan guarantee program.
The visit aims to strengthen cooperation within the Kingdom while supporting economic growth, innovation and sustainable development across the Caribbean parts of the Kingdom.
