A new group of fathers has completed the 2026 Best Dad Ever Aruba program after taking part in seven sessions between August 18 and September 3.
Participants complete seven parenting sessions
The sessions covered parenting, child development and ways for fathers and fathers-to-be to become more active in their children’s lives. Participants also shared experiences and supported one another during the program.
Organization 131 created Best Dad Ever after conducting research into how fathers in Aruba viewed their role in raising children. The program was first implemented in 2017.
Program includes family planning and caregiving
The curriculum addresses the role and influence of fathers, family planning, caregiving and violence. Famia Planea contributes to one of the sessions in partnership with Organization 131.
The final Best Dad Ever group for 2026 is scheduled to begin in October, according to the organizers.
