He argued that many Dutch politicians are unfamiliar with the Aruban context, which affects policy decisions. The Parliamentarian stated that a strong Kingdom relies on transparency and respect for differences. He concluded that Aruba is stronger when working in cooperation with the Kingdom partners, rather than operating in isolation. Pieters reiterated that the relationship must evolve to reflect mutual respect and shared goals.
