Drunk Driver Crashes Into Car On Solito Road

ORANJESTAD (AAN): On Wednesday night on the road of Solito, an accident occurred near the Elmar transformer house, at the T-road, where the driver of a Toyota Yaris coming from below did not stop and went up a one-way street, crashing hard into the side of a Hyundai Santa Fe.

The impact left the Yaris completely destroyed in the front and the Santa Fe damaged on the right side. A young woman at the steering wheel of the Santa Fe was completely frightened but fortunately not injured.

Drunk Driver Accident Aruba: Police Respond Swiftly

Traffic police arrived at the scene and closed the road because both vehicles were on the street. At the scene, police had the driver of the Yaris take an alcohol test, which he failed significantly, and he was detained.

A tow vehicle arrived and took the man to the police station. The car was removed from the road and traffic was reopened.
