ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Children in Aruba will once again have the opportunity to participate in Children’s Experience Day, an interactive educational event organized by ImSan to introduce young participants to the world of emergency and medical services.
The event will take place on May 23 at the Renaissance Convention Center from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., and admission will be free for all attendees.
According to ambulance nurse Christel Choennie, the event is designed to combine education and entertainment through hands-on activities and demonstrations.
One of the main attractions will allow children to explore an ambulance up close and learn how emergency teams operate.
Children will also have the chance to wear ambulance uniforms, take photos, and participate in a CPR Challenge where paramedics will teach basic emergency response and CPR skills adapted for children.
Emergency personnel will provide live demonstrations to show the important work paramedics perform every day to save lives.
Organizers also announced that the first 200 children attending the event will receive a goodie bag, snacks, and drinks.
Families are encouraged to arrive early and enjoy the full experience without the need for advance registration.
