The Centro Famia Piedra Plat programs are preparing to restart for the 2026/2027 school year following three successful weeks of summer camps.
Fundacion Centro Famia Piedra Plat organized three separate camps for different age groups.
The first camp was designed for children between 4 and 7 years old, the second for children between 8 and 11, and the third was a youth camp for participants aged 12 to 16.
Across the three camps, an average of around 70 children participated, supported by approximately 15 leaders during each camp.
The foundation thanked everyone who helped make the summer activities possible, with special recognition given to CEDE Aruba, four European volunteers, ATHA and the many local volunteers who supported the programs.
Registration Opens for New School Year
With the summer camps completed, the foundation is now preparing its regular activities for the new academic year.
Registration is open for homework guidance for primary-school students as well as students in secondary education.
Other programs expected to restart when schools reopen include Club Oansa, music lessons, singing, dancing and painting.
The foundation is also continuing to expand its daytime activities for residents aged 60 and older.
Through the Centro Famia Piedra Plat programs, the organization aims to continue providing educational, creative and social opportunities for children, young people and older adults during the new school year.
