On December 19, 2025, Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort celebrated the holiday season with its annual Holiday Shopping Extravaganza at Do It Center, continuing a tradition of appreciation for its employees. The event recognized the dedication of staff whose commitment contributes to the resort’s global reputation and industry accolades.
The Do It Center opened exclusively for the Bucuti team, with specially prepared sections featuring seasonal stock and employee discounts. All 178 team members received a shopping credit of Afl. 300, with BAV members receiving an additional Afl. 100, allowing them to purchase groceries, household products, and other essentials for the festive season.
The event featured a lively atmosphere with live music, dancing, and performances by local artists, creating a memorable evening of gratitude and holiday cheer.
Partnership Strengthening Community:
Do It Center continues its collaboration with Bucuti & Tara, hosting the second consecutive edition of the event. Lisanne Coffy from Do It Center’s marketing team stated, “It is truly rewarding to see Bucuti Associates enjoy an evening of recognition and appreciation. This year’s celebration also reflected on the resort’s worldwide recognition, including #1 Hotel in the Caribbean, #5 in the World, and #1 Fine Dining in the Caribbean according to Tripadvisor, alongside awards from Condé Nast Traveler, Forbes, and Travel + Leisure. These achievements are credited to the dedication and professionalism of Bucuti & Tara’s hospitality team.
Founder Ewald Biemans and General Manager Rik van der Berg emphasized that the resort’s success is built on its employees, many of whom have served for over a decade. General Director Crescenzia Biemans highlighted the symbolic importance of the event in showing gratitude to the team, calling them the foundation of the resort’s global excellence.
The evening ended with leadership sharing words of appreciation, honoring employees’ contributions and celebrating the spirit of community, generosity, and festive joy.
