Police arrested a driver after a pickup reportedly traveled on three wheels, left the road and nearly struck a residential wall in Boegoeroei early Saturday morning.
Pickup leaves roadway
AWE24 reported that the vehicle crossed to the left side, damaged vegetation and then moved back to the right before stopping near a wall. One wheel had separated from the pickup.
The source described the driver as unsteady. Four officers were reportedly needed to remove the person from the vehicle and place them in police transport after the Boegoeroei pickup crash.
Missing wheel not found overnight
Police searched for the detached wheel but did not locate it during the early-morning response. The report did not state what charge, if any, would follow the arrest.
