The Autentico Industry Seminar will bring chefs, restaurant operators and hospitality professionals together at Embassy Suites Aruba on October 8. The free program forms part of the Autentico Aruba Culinary Festival’s professional-development work.
Program focuses on service and sustainability
The morning seminar will cover sustainability, service excellence, international gastronomy trends and Aruba’s position as a culinary destination. The format includes presentations, a panel discussion and a culinary demonstration.
Speakers include sustainability educator Sian Young, former Michelin Guide Benelux director and head inspector Werner Loens, and hospitality leader Lindsey Peckham, a former director of guest relations at Eleven Madison Park.
International chef joins Aruba program
Peruvian chef Virgilio Martínez is also scheduled to participate. His work is known for connecting cuisine with Peru’s biodiversity and landscapes.
