On behalf of the entire AVP parliamentary faction and in her role as Chair of the Tourism Commission, Member of Parliament Jennifer Arends-Reyes has warmly congratulated the Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA) and its CEO, Ronella Croes, on the organization’s 15th anniversary as a cornerstone institution in Aruba’s tourism development.
Arends-Reyes highlighted ATA’s vital role as a driving force behind Aruba’s sustainable, strategic, and professional tourism promotion. She praised the dedication of the ATA team, noting that their work has directly contributed to the island’s economic growth and strong international positioning.
Over the past 15 years, ATA has navigated major global challenges, including economic crises and the COVID-19 pandemic, while continuing to operate with vision and adaptability. According to Arends-Reyes, ATA’s consistent efforts to diversify tourism markets, enhance the quality of visitor experiences, and preserve Aruba’s cultural identity deserve strong recognition.
She emphasized that tourism remains a central pillar of Aruba’s economy and that achieving the current level of tourism success would not have been possible without a strong institution like ATA.
“On behalf of the people of Aruba and as a parliamentarian, I sincerely thank ATA for its commitment and dedication. Happy 15th anniversary, and may your work continue to be a source of progress for our island for many years to come,” Arends-Reyes stated.
