Ulrich Peña is preparing for a 1.5-kilometre Aruban cancer fundraiser swim in the Netherlands to raise money for cancer research.
The Aruban participant will take part in Swim to Fight Cancer Nijmegen on September 6 in the Spiegelwaal. It is his second year joining the event.
Personal fundraising goal
Peña studied in the Netherlands and works for AstraZeneca in Nijmegen. He has set a personal target of €300, with donations handled through the official Fight Cancer platform.
The Aruban cancer fundraiser swim combines a demanding open-water challenge with support for research and awareness.
