The Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA) recently had the honor of recognizing Mrs. Rita Schaer from Exton, Pennsylvania, as a Goodwill Ambassador of Aruba. This prestigious title was awarded to her in celebration of her unwavering loyalty to the island, marking her years of continuous visits to Aruba. The special recognition took place at Divi Village Golf & Beach Resort, where Mrs. Schaer was presented with a certificate and gifts as a token of gratitude for her dedication to Aruba.

Honoring Loyal Visitors

The Aruba Tourism Authority proudly acknowledges guests who have visited Aruba for 10, 20, or 35 consecutive years. The honorary certifications are presented in three categories:

  • Distinguished Visitor (10+ years consecutively visiting Aruba)
  • Goodwill Ambassador (20+ years consecutively visiting Aruba)
  • Emerald Ambassador (35+ years consecutively visiting Aruba)

Mrs. Schaer was honored as a Goodwill Ambassador, having visited Aruba for over two decades.

A Heartfelt Ceremony

During the ceremony, Ms. Keyttin Silva, representing the Aruba Tourism Authority, along with the staff of Divi Village Golf & Beach Resort, presented Mrs. Schaer with her certificate and a collection of thoughtful gifts. They thanked her for making Aruba her favorite destination and referred to the island as her “home away from home.”

Mrs. Schaer’s Reasons for Returning to Aruba

Mrs. Schaer shared some of the top reasons that have made Aruba her destination of choice for so many years:

  • Aruba’s sun
  • Aruba’s beautiful beaches
  • Aruba’s safety
  • Aruba’s friendly people
  • Aruba’s delicious food

A Special Thank You

On behalf of the Aruba Tourism Authority, we express our deepest appreciation to Mrs. Rita Schaer for her continued support of Aruba. Her loyalty is a testament to the warmth and appeal of the “One Happy Island,” and we look forward to welcoming her back for many more visits in the future.
