ORANJESTAD – The Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA) had the honor of recognizing Ms. Linda Alberque from Killington, Vermont, USA, for her unwavering loyalty and love for the island of Aruba. Ms. Alberque was presented with a Goodwill Ambassador certificate at the Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort as part of the ATA’s program to recognize guests who have been visiting Aruba for 20 consecutive years or more.

Honoring Loyalty to Aruba

The Aruba Tourism Authority’s Goodwill Ambassador award is part of a broader recognition program designed to acknowledge guests who have made Aruba their vacation home for decades. The three levels of recognition are as follows:

  • Distinguished Visitor (10+ years consecutively visiting Aruba)

  • Goodwill Ambassador (20+ years consecutively visiting Aruba)

  • Emerald Ambassador (35+ years consecutively visiting Aruba)

Ms. Alberque was honored as a Goodwill Ambassador for her 20 years of loyal visits to Aruba, a testament to her connection with the island.

A Heartfelt Ceremony

During the special ceremony, Mr. Jorgino Willems of the Aruba Tourism Authority, alongside staff members of Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort, presented Ms. Alberque with her certificate and gifts as a token of appreciation for her continued visits. The ATA extended their heartfelt “Masha Danki” (Thank You) for making Aruba her home away from home.

Why Ms. Linda Alberque Keeps Coming Back

When asked about why she keeps returning to Aruba, Ms. Alberque shared some of the top reasons that keep her coming back year after year:

  • The warmth and friendliness of Aruba’s people

  • The island’s perfect weather

  • The variety and quality of Aruba’s restaurants

  • The promise of “endless fun”

A Special Thank You to Ms. Linda Alberque

On behalf of the Aruba Tourism Authority, we would like to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to Ms. Linda Alberque for her continued loyalty and visits to “One Happy Island”. We are honored to have you as part of the Aruba family, and we look forward to welcoming you back for many more years of unforgettable memories!
