Aruba is offering a free tax workshop for people preparing to open a business and entrepreneurs who already operate one on the island. The session will give participants practical guidance on several taxes and the government’s online tax portal.
Aruba tax workshop scheduled for October 6
The Department of Economic Affairs, Commerce and Industry is organizing the workshop through its Initiative for the Development of Aruban Enterprise (IDEA), in collaboration with the Department of Taxes (DIMP). It will take place on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
The event will be held at the Department of Economic Affairs, Commerce and Industry in Cas Veneranda, Wilhelminastraat 7, on the second floor. Attendance is free, but advance registration is required.
Tax topics for entrepreneurs
DIMP representatives are expected to explain income and profit taxes, along with BBO, BAVP and BAZV. The program will also introduce BO Impuesto, the department’s online portal, and address other tax matters relevant to business owners.
The Aruba tax workshop is open both to prospective entrepreneurs and to people with an established business. Registration is available through the workshop form linked by the organizer.
