Aruba supplementary budget answers have been submitted for all 1,384 questions raised by Parliament about the First Supplementary Budget for 2026, Finance Minister Geoffrey Wever says, according to NoticiaCla’s November 3 report.
Government awaits a debate date
Wever said the government was waiting for Parliament to set a date to consider the proposal. The supplementary budget would adjust the 2026 budget already being implemented to reflect current needs and economic developments. The report does not announce parliamentary approval of the adjustments.
Advice and responses included
The proposal has been assessed by the College Aruba Financieel Toezicht and the Raad van Advies, the minister said. The government included its responses to their advice in the documentation sent to Parliament. Wever described the answers as part of the government’s financial transparency and accountability; that is his account of the process.
