Aruba Real Estate Summit 2026 brought industry professionals, experts and government representatives together to discuss responsible development and presented its first Cornerstone Awards to four sector pioneers.
Summit examines responsible development
The event, organized by ID Realty Group, took place on August 27 and 28. Sessions covered infrastructure, investment, planning, smart construction, transparency and sustainability in Aruba’s real estate sector.
Participants included Infrastructure Minister Rene Herdé and Angelo Brete of the Financial Intelligence Unit. Presentations from Nigel Maduro, Inheritas, EcoAruba Smart Build and Joyce Bartels Daal addressed innovation and the long-term impact of property decisions.
First Cornerstone Awards presented
The inaugural Aruba Real Estate Cornerstone Awards honored twin brothers Stanley and Clayton Brown, Rudolph Kok and Cindy Ruittemanz. Organizers said the awards recognize people whose leadership and long-term work helped professionalize and strengthen the local industry.
The next Aruba Real Estate Summit is scheduled for September 3 and 4, 2027. Organizers said details about nominations and criteria for the next awards will be announced later.
