During Monday’s public meeting focused on childcare legislation, Wever-Croes seized the opportunity to question Minister Gerlien Croes about the private flight matter. According to Wever-Croes, she submitted a request for a meeting related to this topic back in December, yet no meeting has been scheduled to date.
The MEP leader also directed several questions to the minister, but received no responses. Wever-Croes stated that significant doubts remain regarding the details of the private jet trip.
On a previous occasion, the minister informed the yellow faction that she had sent responses or provided information about the trip that has attracted so much attention.
Meanwhile, while Wever-Croes shifted the discussion to a different topic—similar to what occurred during Friday’s meeting on the Landspakket—the minister only expressed that she regrets that the session was deviating from a very important matter to engage in politics, and that she does not stoop to that level of political maneuvering in the House of Representatives.
