An Aruba minor travel consent reminder is urging residents travelling with a child under 18 to prepare the required form and supporting documents before the approaching busy travel season, Diario reported on September 28.
Consent form can be prepared in advance
Families may download and complete either the Dutch-language Toestemming Reizen Met een Minderjarig Kind form or the Papiamento Permiso Pa biaha cu un Menor di edad form, then take it with the required documents to the Immigration Department.
The office is located at J.G. Emanstraat 39 in Oranjestad. Immigration encouraged travellers to complete the process early because a busy travel period is approaching.
Birth certificate is not required
According to the notice, travellers do not need to submit the child’s birth certificate. A parental-authority record may be required when applicable.
The source linked to the downloadable form and advised families to review the listed requirements before visiting the office.
Immigration office hours listed
Regular public-service hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. On Wednesdays, the department is open only in the morning, from 8:00 a.m. to noon.
The office will be closed to the public from December 24, 2026, and is scheduled to reopen Monday, January 4, 2027. The notice also advises travellers to account for other public holidays when planning a visit.
