Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino Completes Major Renovation, Boosting Palm Beach Tourism

Aruba’s tourism sector has received a significant boost as the Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino has completed a multimillion-dollar renovation, upgrading all 414 guest rooms, 24 suites, and the Mandara Spa. Located on Palm Beach along L.G. Smith Boulevard, the refreshed resort strengthens Aruba’s position in the Caribbean’s upscale beach tourism market.

The renovation introduces a bright, contemporary coastal design inspired by Aruba’s natural surroundings. Guest rooms now feature light sand and taupe tones with soft coral and sea-glass accents, floor-to-ceiling windows, and enhanced views of Palm Beach and the Caribbean Sea. Updated furnishings, new flooring, and locally inspired artwork provide a modern, residential feel tailored to both leisure travelers and guests combining vacation with remote work.

Bathrooms across the resort have been fully redesigned with double vanities, marble countertops, back-lit mirrors, rainfall showers, and refined finishes. Select room categories now include oversized soaking tubs aimed at romance and wellness-focused travelers. Guest corridors were also refreshed with new carpeting featuring aquatic-inspired patterns, creating a cohesive coastal experience throughout the property.

All 24 suites, starting at approximately 625 square feet, were included in the upgrade and now offer wrap-around balconies with expansive ocean views. Five of these suites are part of the adults-only Tradewinds Club, which provides exclusive access to private lounges and premium services, targeting honeymooners and high-end adult travelers seeking a quieter, curated resort experience.

The renovation also extended to the Mandara Spa, one of Aruba’s largest spa facilities. Enhancements include new saunas and steam rooms, upgraded décor across twelve treatment rooms, and an expanded outdoor relaxation courtyard with a hot tub and cold plunge. These upgrades further strengthen Aruba’s appeal as a wellness tourism destination.

In addition, the project follows recent modernization efforts at the Stellaris Casino, aligning gaming, wellness, and luxury accommodations under a unified upscale resort experience. Together, these improvements position the Aruba Marriott to compete more strongly within the high-rise Palm Beach corridor.

Tourism officials and industry observers view the renovation as a sign of continued confidence in Aruba’s tourism economy. By attracting high-spending visitors from North America, Latin America, and Europe, the upgraded resort supports longer stays, higher visitor spending, and sustained demand for Palm Beach as one of the Caribbean’s premier resort areas.
