A new Aruba management conference for education and childcare leaders will be introduced ahead of this year’s education congress, according to an October 19 report by AWE24.
First conference targets education leadership
The first Managementconferentie Caribbean is described as a morning programme for school leaders, deputy heads, education administrators and childcare managers. Its focus includes leadership, educational quality and school development.
Sessions address school quality and motivation
AWE24 reports that Lianne ter Steeg will lead a masterclass on the school leader’s role in educational quality. Pepijn Dousi is scheduled to discuss motivational leadership in school development. The Aruba and Curaçao programmes also include creativity within organizations.
Connection to the regional congress
The new conference is being organized before Het Nationaal Onderwijs Congres Caribbean, whose ninth edition has a BrainPower theme. AWE24 lists the Aruba congress for October 26 at Colegio Arubano, followed by Curaçao on October 27 and 28 and Bonaire on October 29.
The report says participants in the management conference and education congress will receive access to the Caribbean Academy for continued online professional development. These are announced plans for the upcoming programmes.
