Food bank works with more than 40 organizations
Gabriel Marchena represented Fundacion Pa Nos Comunidad at the Lions Club’s August 26 meeting. According to the club’s account published by 24ora, the nonprofit serves as Aruba’s official food bank and works with more than 40 social organizations.
Weekly parcels reach about 350 families
The report said the Aruba Lions Club made a donation supporting the food bank’s assistance. Fundacion Pa Nos Comunidad helps approximately 350 families receive a food parcel each week. Lions Club president Gerardo Figaroa thanked Marchena for the presentation and recognized the foundation’s work.
