ORANJESTAD, Aruba — The Aruba Bank FADA Partnership will continue for a third consecutive year as the bank renews its support for Fundacion Anti Droga Aruba and its efforts to strengthen mental health, emotional well-being and family relationships across the island.
This year, Aruba Bank will support FADA’s Interactive Family Conference, organized under the theme “ONE FAMILY.”
The community-focused event is designed to increase awareness about mental health, communication and emotional well-being within families.
Participants will have access to professional information, real-life experiences, interactive workshops and practical tools intended to improve communication and strengthen relationships.
Aruba Bank FADA Partnership Supports ONE FAMILY
The Aruba Bank FADA Partnership reflects a shared commitment to supporting healthier and more resilient families in Aruba.
According to Aruba Bank, the collaboration aligns with two of its strategic pillars: WeCare and We Build.
Through WeCare, the bank focuses on contributing to the well-being of the people and communities it serves.
The We Build pillar emphasizes investment in projects and initiatives that can create positive and lasting benefits for Aruba.
Supporting FADA’s mental-health and family programs brings both priorities together through a community initiative focused on prevention, education and emotional support.
Mental Health and Family Well-Being
Edseline Leer-Semeleer, Head of Retail Banking at Aruba Bank, said mental health and well-being are important needs within the community.
She said continuing the collaboration with FADA provides an opportunity to create greater awareness, encourage open conversations and help families connect and grow stronger together.
The ONE FAMILY conference will address several areas affecting family well-being, including connection, communication, prevention, emotional safety, resilience and healing.
Organizers aim to create a supportive environment where family members can learn, participate and develop practical skills together.
Third Consecutive Year of Support
The continued Aruba Bank FADA Partnership marks the third consecutive year that the bank has supported FADA’s community work.
The collaboration reflects growing attention in Aruba to the importance of discussing mental health openly and providing families with resources to address emotional and social challenges.
Rather than focusing only on problems after they develop, the conference will also emphasize prevention and communication as tools for building stronger relationships.
Aruba Bank and FADA are inviting families and members of the wider community to participate in this year’s event and become part of the conversation surrounding mental health and emotional well-being.
Through the ONE FAMILY initiative, both organizations hope to encourage stronger connections within households and increase awareness of the support available in Aruba.
The Aruba Bank FADA Partnership ultimately aims to contribute to healthier individuals, stronger families and a more resilient Aruba through continued education, conversation and community involvement.
