Aruba Bank and Deloitte have concluded the second session of their joint client workshop series, wrapping up two editions dedicated to knowledge sharing, collaboration and professional networking.
The second session, held Wednesday, closed out the “Aruba Bank x Deloitte Workshop 2026” program, which brought together clients, partners and subject-matter experts for practical discussions on financial, tax, administrative and compliance topics relevant to doing business in Aruba.
The afternoon began with welcome remarks delivered on behalf of Aruba Bank by Ramon Mas, setting the tone for a session centered on knowledge exchange, dialogue and the strengthening of professional connections.
Practical topics on the agenda
Session 2 focused on three themes: the compilation of financial statements and general filing requirements in Aruba; tax and administrative filing requirements when owning real estate; and the AML/CFT state ordinance as it applies to the real estate sector — the anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing rules that property professionals must observe.
Across the presentations, participants received practical guidance on financial reporting and filing obligations, tax and administrative duties, and compliance requirements affecting real estate transactions.
The program also featured an interactive question-and-answer segment, giving attendees the opportunity to engage directly with the experts, explore the topics in greater depth and share their own perspectives.
Following the formal program, participants gathered for a networking event — a chance to continue the conversations, exchange ideas and build professional relationships.
Aruba Bank thanked Deloitte for the collaboration and for sharing its expertise throughout the workshop, as well as the clients and partners whose knowledge, questions and perspectives contributed to the success of both sessions.
