The Aruba labour survey is running from October 31 to November 28, 2026, with 25 interviewers approaching 4,000 selected households, according to a November 4 notice published by AWE24. The Department of Labour and Research, Central Bureau of Statistics and Central Bank of Aruba are carrying out the Labour Force Survey together.
Selected households receive interviewer visits
Visits are scheduled between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Interviewers must identify themselves with a badge carrying their name and the participating organisations’ logos. The notice advises residents not to allow an interview if the visitor cannot produce that identification.
Questionnaire covers employment and work-life balance
Basic household questions are followed by labour-market questions for people aged 15 and over, including people who are employed, unemployed or not economically active. Topics include education, occupation, sector, working hours and a new section on work-life balance.
The notice says responses will be processed anonymously and published only in aggregate. The survey aims to inform an updated picture of Aruba’s labour market; it is not a release of new employment or unemployment results.
