Aruba vehicle inspections have no remaining appointments in 2026, with the first available slots in late April 2027, DTI acting director Richella Dorothal told DIARIO.
Demand rises alongside enforcement
Dorothal linked the backlog to increased demand as police and public-transport checks intensified. She said DTI also opens on Saturdays, especially for trucks and public-transport vehicles. The availability described is the position reported on October 27.
Documents needed when making an appointment
According to the report, applicants must attend DTI in person with valid vehicle insurance and the DIMP registration form, and bring those documents again on inspection day. Public-transport vehicles also need a valid permit or relevant DTP letter. Motorists were urged to arrange inspections well before expiry.
